West Yorkshire Spinners Wool Revival DK - 100g

Each year West Yorkshire Spinners processes thousands of kilos of British wool; every spin leaves an excess amount of material that would usually wind up as ‘waste’. WYS loves wool, and they don’t like waste! So, they've given it the revival it deserves.

WYS starts by collecting all this valuable and perfectly good fibre which is gathered after each clean down of the spinning frames. Next, they send it to our local production partner to card, comb and convert back into tops before it arrives back at our mill for spinning. This spun yarn then heads out again to be dyed locally, and once dyed, it’s back to West Yorkshire Spinners for finishing, balling and packing. Sustainability is at the heart of everything they do, and all of this takes place within a 10-mile radius – something which WYS are extremely proud of. 

Recommended needle size: 4mm

100% Recycled British Wool, 20% Recycled Nylon.

Machine washable at 30ºc.
