Sandnes Garn Børstet Alpakka - 50g

A delightfully light and airy yarn, Børstet Alpakka is a lovely choice for some winter knitting. This bulky weight yarn consists of Alpaca fiber twisted together with a strong Nylon thread, which holds everything together when the Alpaca fibers are brushed. The result is a soft and light knitted fabric with a fuzzy texture.

Since Alpaca is about three times warmer than regular wool, this is a beautiful choice for the cosiest handknit sweater and/or cardigan. The fibre is hollow, making it lightweight and breathable, but also means you feel warm and cosy in cold temperatures and cooler when the weather is warmer.

Recommended needle size: 5mm-7mm

96% Brushed Alpaca / 4% Nylon

Use wool detergent, hand wash where possible. Avoid wash bags and fabric softener.
