No Frills Knitting Needle Sizer

Inherited a bunch of knitting needles? No idea what size they are? I’ve got you. This sizer will help.

I always end up with a pile of needles, all the size markings have worn off and they’re all a similar size. I use one of these gauges almost every time I pick up a different set of needles, just to check. The needle should slot in the little hole and stop just past it’s taper. If it slips through easily, it’s smaller than that hole. If it is still tapered and hasn’t gone through, it’s larger than that hole. It also has a super handy ruler on each side.
