KnitPro Wool Winder

This is such a handy tool, no more winding yarn around your fingers and cutting off the circulation because you’re winding too tight. No more trying to make a centre pull ball around the handle of a wooden spoon. No more losing your ends and having that perfectly round ball rolling all over the floor and under the table.

This ball winder winds the yarn straight off the swift, or off the hands of your wool winding buddy (mine is the back of a chair, yours might be a person) into a very neat cake. It makes a very satisfying centre-pull ball so the yarn doesn’t roll around collecting all the dust and dropped detritus of the under-the-sofa depths of floor. For these balls, one does not need a yarn bowl, which to me, is a win in itself - any bowl not containing for ice cream or a steaming pile of pasta is wasted in my eyes. Just think, you could save yourself lots of time and repurpose that yarn bowl into a receptacle for a pudding. Winner winner.

Side note, I challenge you to think up an A to Z of puddings. One for each letter. E.G - Apple crumble, Blancmange, Cheesecake etc etc. Naming a fruit crumble or a cheesecake for every letter is cheating - limit yourself to five crumbles over the alphabet. Let me know how you get on.
