The cutest little pixie hat, the Elf-burgh by Ysolda is a super sweet bonnet knitting pattern that's double-layered to keep your little one's head nice and warm. It's knit from the tip of one crown to the other as a long tube, so once you've finished knitting, you just turn one layer inside the other. As such, it's completely reversible, so you can work each half in a different colour or stripe combo to give you two handknit bonnets in one!
This multi-gauge hat knitting pattern includes 8 sizes from newborn to adult XL, and because it's a swatchless hat, you can knit it in any yarn and at any gauge you wish.

No swatching required here! The Elf-burgh Bonnet is designed to be knitted at a range of gauges (7 options, in fact), so you can choose your yarn and needles and start knitting straight away. If you haven’t knit a swatchless project before, all you need to do is start knitting, measure your gauge after the first few rounds and then follow the numbers for your personal gauge and chosen size.

The Elf-burgh Bonnet knitting pattern includes eight sizes to fit a range of head circumferences.
