25_04 Tarjei Sweater | Sandnes Garn Single Printed Knitting Pattern

Knitted sweater worked from the top down in Tynn Peer Gynt (held double) by Sandnes Garn. 

Construction:
Cast on sts for the back, and work back and forth with turning rows to shape slanting shoulders, then cont until underarms.
Knit up sts on shoulders for left and right side front. Shaping of shoulders are done with turning rows, and cast on sts for neck. Join fronts when length is suitable for length of zipper. Join back and front when reaching underarms, cont in rnds, and end with ribbing at full length.
Work neckband in ribbing back and forth. To shape neckband for the curved neckline, work turning rows on left and right side of neck, for a wider neckband for front. Turn neckband to WS and work back and forth with dec over front band to fit nicely into the deeper neckline. Knit up sts on slit edges for edging on each side for zipper. Sew on zipper.
Work garment with double yarn = 1 strand of 2 different colors for the melange effect.
