Sort your pile of mending out with this handy darning egg. Jam jars, satsumas, and real chicken eggs have nothing on this for getting that perfect ‘elbow stretch’ to your darned patch. Place inside the holey garment, stretch knitting over the top and proceed to darn; it really is easy as pie.
The darning egg is a good all-rounder darning aid. You can use the longest side to darn something more flat, like an armpit, or the pointiest end to darn an elbow or toe of a sock.
Approximately 6cm x 4cm. FSC Certified, sustainably sourced British Beech wood.
